Artist's book as portal—perhaps to a fairytale world, perhaps to a nightmare. Manipulating the depth of field and forced perspective, the expandable bellows allow the viewer peer closely and enter into a dark, mysterious 3D environment. Alternately, one can shine a flashlight through the book to project shifting 'shadow puppet'-like creatures onto the wall.
