After writing a poem inspired by the trees that survived the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki (called hibakujumoku in Japanese), I embroidered select verses onto linen dyed with fallen leaves from the propagated gingko balboa gifted to the city of Paris in 2018.
