Laura Fisher is a Paris-based artist, bookmaker, and professor, working interdisciplinarily in drawing, printmaking, lens-based media, and textiles.
Her work explores issues of situated grief, figurative memory, and ecologies of war. This often begins with in-situ research, working with sensitive histories by consulting archives, testimony, and community members through a collaborative process of listening, witnessing, and knowledge-sharing, and incorporating materials and techniques that are tied to a specific place through their unique history and physical properties.
Artist's books and photo books are an integral part of her artistic practice, where text and language are often employed as a means of visual poetry, and to amplify often underrepresented lived experiences.

Lia Pradal, based in the Pyrenees, is an artist, publisher, and graphic designer, a graduate of the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. She places the book at the heart of her artistic practice, exploring different forms of publishing and using the image as a raw material. In the tradition of artist-iconographers, her artist's books and installations offer reinterpretations of pre-existing iconographies or little-known archival collections.
